Residents asked to conserve water for time being while Public Works fixes water line

Beginning today, Monday June 12^th low water pressure is possible as road work on North Dakota street continues. The Aberdeen Public Works Department says it will need to shut down a 16 inch transmission line that feeds the water tower near Northern State University to repair and improve a large diameter water transmission line. Residents are asked to conserve water by eliminating excess use for the time being. That includes watering the lawn until June 14^th. Conserving water during this time will ensure there is enough for fire protection and domestic use .
