Residents asked to conserve water for time being while Public Works fixes water line

Beginning today, Monday June 12th low water pressure is possible as road work on North Dakota street continues. The Aberdeen Public Works Department says it will need to shut down a 16 inch transmission line that feeds the water tower near Northern State University to repair and improve a large diameter water transmission line. Residents are asked to conserve water by eliminating excess use for the time being. That includes watering the lawn until June 14th. Conserving water during this time will ensure there is enough for fire protection and domestic use .
