Brown county officials are raising awareness about work set to begin Friday on the Richmond Lake Dam. According to a release, this will start the process for the development of possible spillway modification. Work is expected to be ongoing into August. During that time there may be roadway closures and lane closures. There is no danger of dam failure and this is only for engineering work.
