Road closures and water to be shut off in parts of Aberdeen Friday

Beginning at 8:00 am on Friday, December 22, 2023, the following roads will be closed to thru traffic and water will be off in the following areas for emergency water line repair: S. Washington St. from 11th Ave. SE to 12th Ave. SE And 11th Ave. SE from S. Lincoln St. to S. Washington St. Also water will be shut off in the following area: S. Washington St. from 10th Ave. SE to 12th Ave. SE And 11th Ave. SE from S. Main St. to S. Jay St. Water will be off and the roads will be closed till approximately 5:00 pm Friday, December 22nd.  The Public Works Department advises residents to take alternate routes until the work is completed and suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.
