Road closures planned and water shut off in parts of Aberdeen Tuesday

Beginning at 7am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the following road will be closed to thru traffic and water will be off for watermain replacement:

Road Closed:

700 Block of S. 14^th St.

Water Off:

S. 14^th St. from 6^th Ave. SW to 8^th Ave. SW

The water will be off Tuesday, August 13^th from 7am to approximately 5pm.  The road is scheduled to be closed from 7am to 5pm Tuesday, August 13th thru Tuesday, August 20th or until completed.  The road, however, will be open in the evenings and on the weekend.  The Public Works Department suggests that residents in the affected areas collect and store water for personal and restroom use and that motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
