Beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. Today Monday August 22nd, the following road will be closed due to utility installation: South Dakota Street from 15th Avenue Southeast to 17th Avenue Southeast. The road will be closed to thru traffic until further notice. Local traffic will be maintained as much as possible. Contact the city engineer office with any questions at 626-7017.
Beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m. Today Monday August 22nd, the following intersection will be closed to traffic for utility work: South Lincoln Street and 4th Avenue southeast. The intersection will be close to traffic completely on 4th avenue and will be restricted to one lane of travel on South Lincoln Street. Work is expected to be completed by Thursday August 25th. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes during construction.
