Ryan Seacrest to replace Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune

Sony Pictures Television announced Tuesday Ryan Seacrest will replace Pat Sajak as the host of Wheel of Fortune. Seacrest has signed a multiyear deal to host the long-running game show. Sajak who is 76 years old is entering his 41^st season as host of the game show, but will be retiring at the end of this season. Vanna White, another mainstay of the hit show will stay on to work with Seacrest as he takes over. Seacrest most recently had a television show Live with Kelly and Ryan, but announced he’d be leaving that show after six seasons. He first came to fame as the host of American Idol.
