Saints player Laura Babcock named NSAA defender of the week

The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its third installment of volleyball players-of-the-week honors Monday. Laura Babcock (SR/Aberdeen, SD) of Presentation (S.D.) was selected as Defender of the Week. Babcock is the first Saint to earn Defender of the Week for Presentations 2022 campaign.

Babcock recorded nearly a total of 100 digs for the week as Presentation (S.D.) went 1-4 record for the week, including a 1-3 record in the College of Saint Mary (Neb.) Labor Day Classic. She also registered at least two set assists in each match. Babcock totaled 99 digs and averaged 5.8 digs per set for the Saints.
