SD AG Marty Jackley signs on to Amicus Brief calling on the Supreme Court to honor former president Trump’s stay request

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has signed onto an amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court regarding former President Trump’s argument regarding presidential immunity. An amicus brief is presented by people or groups who are not directly involved in a legal case but have expertise or insight to offer a court. The brief, signed on by 21 other Attorneys General calls on the Supreme Court to accept the former president’s stay request so he has more time to mount a defense. Trump is facing four charges from the episode of January 6^th 2023.
