SD DCI finds no wrongdoing in Gov. Noem’s use of state owned airplane

The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation has released a report looking into Governor Kristi Noem’s use of the state owned airplane. According to State’s Attorney Jessica LaMie, the DCI found quote “no criminal activity” in governor Kristi Noem’s use of the state’s airplane or flight record. The South Dakota Government Accountability board sent the airplane complaint to Attorney General Mark Vargo and LaMie for further investigation, saying evidence showed the Governor missued the plane or altered flight records. Governor Noem has consistently denied any wrongdoing in her use of the state owned airplane.
