The South Dakota Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting tonight at 5:30 p.m. Regarding plans to replace the bridge on 6th avenue in Aberdeen that goes over Moccasin Creek. The meeting will be held at the Best Western Ramkota. This will be the public’s opportunity for comment as well as to hear the plan the state has for the replacement. Work is not expected to be done until at least 2026. Trucks are going to have to travel north of Aberdeen to Brown County 13 and back down 281 while cars will be asked to take Melgaard to Roosevelt.
