The South Dakota Board of Regents has announced the free application period is now open for South Dakota’s public universities and tech schools. Starting today through November 30th, South Dakota students along with students from Colorado, Illinois, Montana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Wyoming can apply to participating schools free of charge. Application fees typically run from anywhere between $20 to $35 per school per each application. Participating institutions include Black Hills State, Dakota State, Lake Area Tech, Mitchell Tech, Northern State, South Dakota School of Mines, SDSU, Southeast Technical College, USD and Western Dakota Tech.
