The States first medical marijuana dispensary is scheduled to have its grand opening Wednesday July 27th in Hartford South Dakota. The business is set to open over a year and a half after South Dakota voters overwhelmingly made a medical marijuana program legal via a 69.92 percent in favor vote in November of 2020. The shop is called Unity Rd and is a franchise with other locations in Oklahoma and Colorado.
