SDSU wins second consecutive FCS National Championship

South Dakota State football defeated Montana yesterday afternoon to win the program’s second consecutive FCS National Championship. The final was 23-3.

Jacks quarterback Mark Gronowski completed 13-21 passes for 175 yards one touchdown and one interception. Running back Isaiah Davis rushed 16 times for 90 yards and one touchdown.

Jacks head coach Jimmy Rodgers said the team was focused from the start of this season to the finish…

Rodgers went on to say this championship was led by the Jacks defense…

Rodgers also feels this is the best Jackrabbits football team in the program’s long history…
