Sioux Falls man arrested in Watertown on allegedly using counterfeit money

A Sioux Falls man has been arrested in Watertown on fraud charges. According to Watertown police, officers arrested 54-year-old Scott Robertson of Sioux Falls for allegedly trying to use a fake $50 bill last Wednesday. The suspect allegedly try to pay with the fake cash at a Watertown gas station. Police located the suspect at a motel in Watertown and upon further investigation, allege they found more counterfeit money along with printers, watermarked paper, drugs and drugs paraphernalia. He faces multiple forgery charges and drug possession.
