A Sioux Falls man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on child pornography charges. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota, 44-year-old Matthew Richard Hainje faces two counts of transportation of child pornography. Hainje is alleged to have knowingly transported child pornography on December 20, 2022 and again between December of 2022 and January of 2023. That included graphic images and video files depicting one or more minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Hainje was convicted of a similar crime in 2018 and is a registered sex offender.
