A Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to 10-years in prison on federal sex trafficking charges. Robert Stefani was convicted Wednesday on one charge as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. As part of the guilty plea, a second charge of child pornography was dropped. Stefani admitted to engaging in commercial sexual acts with a minor in March of 2022, but denied knowing her age. Stefani has also pleaded guilty to a state rape charge, but that sentencing has been suspended due to the federal case which was ongoing.
