The South Dakota Board of Regents at its meeting Wednesday in Brookings approved Northern State’s plans for the demolishing of Lincoln and Briscoe halls in order to build the new Business and Health innovation center. The building will be 40,600 square feet, two stories and house faculty offices, classrooms, study spaces, huddle rooms and telehealth. It will also serve as the home of the new Northern Innovation and Startup Center. The original plan was to have the new center sit at 46,000 square feet but those plans have been scaled back.
