The South Dakota Board of Regents Tuesday announced the enrollment numbers for all six public universities across the state. According to the numbers, enrollment is up by nearly one percent. Northern State saw a small increase of .1 percent with a total student population of 3,344. South Dakota State increased by 1.2 percent and has the largest student population in the state at 11,331. The University of South Dakota saw a 4.1 percent increase for a total population of 9,856.
