(KXLG – Watertown, SD) A stabbing incident that occurred on June 15 has led to the identification of two suspects, thanks to public assistance. Watertown Police Department officers responded to a distress call at approximately 11:34 am in the 200 block of 1st Ave NW, where they discovered a male victim with life-threatening injuries.
The victim was immediately transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital by Watertown Fire Rescue.
The investigation is ongoing in collaboration with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Authorities have assured that there is no imminent danger to the community at this time.
The Watertown Police Department thanks the citizens for their crucial role in advancing the investigation. The two identified individuals are cooperating with law enforcement, and charges are pending.
