The suspect charged in a stabbing which occurred Sunday September 8th has been charged. According to court documents 53-year-old Rufus Reeds Jr. has been charged with one count of attempted second degree murder. He received bond at $25,000 cash earlier this week. The charges stem from an incident Sunday when police were called to the 600 block of South Grand Street. According to Police, upon arrival, officers found a 52-year-old female victim with stab wounds all over her body. She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Police believe the suspect and victim were in a relationship and got into an argument which escalated.
