State DOH accepting public comments regarding proposed changes to medical marijuana program

The South Dakota Department of Health is now accepting public comments on proposed rule changes to the South Dakota medical cannabis program. Comments can be made through the mail at 600 E. Capital Avenue Pierre, SD 57501. The Department of Health plans to submit its final package to the Legislature’s Rules Review Committee on November 7th. Some of the rule changes include a 10 percent allowance on potency, and requiring products be manufactured only with unadulterated cannabis or cannabis concentrates.
