The South Dakota Legislative Rules committee Tuesday approved a price increase for gate fees at this year’s South Dakota State Fair in Huron. Prices will now be for people 16 year and older $10 per day, up from $6 last year. Week long passbooks are up to $40 from $25 last year. Youths ages six through 15 will cost $5 per day, rather than $4 last year. Week long youth passbooks will be $20, up from $15 last year.
The fair will run August 31st through the 4th.
