Summit Carbon Solutions will hold office hours in Aberdeen and Redfield this week as a way to try and engage the public and answer questions from concerned residents. Summit representation will be at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center at 225 Third Ave SE in the alumni room from 11:00 a.m. This morning to 1:00 p.m. according to the company’s Facebook page. They will also be in Redfield from noon to 2:00 at the Redfield Carnegie Library 5 east fifth avenue. Summit is currently trying to build a multi-state carbon capture pipeline which would run through northeast South Dakota to ultimately sequester Co2 in liquid form in underground in North Dakota.
