Suspect arrested in Aberdeen early Sunday morning on DUI, reckless driving and other charges

A suspsect driving a pickup with Minnesota license plates was arrested in Aberdeen over the weekend on DUI, reckless driving, driving under revocation and aggravated eluding charges. According to the Aberdeen Police Department, officers pursued a vehicle they say was speeding in the 3300 block of 6^th avenue southeast. Police say they attempted to pull the vehicle over and in the process the driver turned onto a grassy area on the side of the road. The suspect went through a parking lot and crossed South Norwood Street, entering a draining ditch, hit a tree and rolled. The suspect was not identified by police, but was taken to a local hospital for possible injuries.
