Tea woman to serve probation for illegally obtaining controlled substance

A Tea woman has been sentenced to two years probation on obtaining controlled substances by fraud. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota 40-year-old Brittany Enstad was sentenced Tuesday for incidents which occurred between July of 2022 through December of 2022 when she was a registered nurse at te Sanford Canton-Inwood Medical Center in Canton South Dakota. During that period of time, Enstad obtained OxyContin through fraud by removing the drugs for her own use and replacing the packs with other medication.
