Teacher with the Ipswich school district arrested on rape charges

A teacher in the Ipswich School District has been arrested on rape charges.

According to Dakota News Now, 47-year-old Jeromy Loken was arrested last Thursday and faces charges including rape, sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual contact with a child.

His initial court appearance will be June 18th. Loken has been serving as an industrial technology and physical education teacher and an assistant track coach for the Ipswich school district.

There is no indication the case involves a student or is tied to the school.
