A teenager in Roberts county has been arrested following a traffic stop. According to the Roberts County Sheriff’s department the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling 95 miles per hour in a 55 per hour zone. Upon conducting a traffic stop, a search of the vehicle unveiled illegal drugs. The driver, a 16-year-old unlicensed driver was arrested. In the vehicle with the driver was a 2-year-old, 6-year-old, and 15-year-old. The driver was eventually released to the custody of a guardian pending a court date. The teen faces reckless driving, speeding, possession of marijuana, contributing tot he abuse-neglect- or delinquency of a child and driving without a license.
