THC edibles and beverages now legal in Minnesota

A New Minnesota law took effect July 1st legalizing THC infused edibles and beverages for people 21 years or older. According to the law, these products may not contain more than 5 milligrams of THC per serving and no more than 50 milligrams per package. Five milligrams is industry standard for about half a dose of THC found in recreational marijuana products. Under this new law, these products must be derived from legally certified hemp, but according to experts the THC found in these products have the same affect derived from hemp or marijuana.
