Three children injured in Deuel county school bus accident

Three students needed to be taken to a local hospital Wednesday morning when a school bus rolled onto its side in Deuel county. According to the Deuel county sheriff’s department the accident occurred just before 8:00 a.m. On 471^st avenue, a half-mile south of Highway 212. The bus met another vehicle on a gravel road, moved over and when trying to get back to the center of the road spun on the ice and went into the west ditch, rolling on the driver’ side. Nine children were in the bus at the time of the accident. Two were taken directly to the hospital while a third was taken by parents after complaining about an injury.
