(KWAT – Watertown, SD) Three people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a school bus and car collided just outside of Clear Lake.
The Deuel County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 4:00 p.m. at 475th Avenue and 181st Street, just northwest of the Clear Lake city limits.
None of the children on the school bus were injured.
However, the bus driver was taken to Sanford Clear Lake Hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the car was taken to that same medical facility, and later transported by ambulance to Sioux Falls with serious injuries.
A child in the car was taken to Sanford Clear Lake Hospital where they were treated and released.
The Deuel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
