Police in Rapid City responded to shots fired Monday night that resulted in three people being injured. According to Rapid City police, officers responded to a location near Rapid City Stevens High School around 9:30 p.m. On reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found two men who had been shot. While responding to the call a third person involved was already taken to a local hospital to receive medical treatment for a gunshot wound. Police went on to say upon further investigation authorities determined all those involved in the incident were accounted for and knew one another. The incident remains under investigation.
