Three people died and another was injured in a one-vehicle accident late Saturday southwest of Sisseton. According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred on Roberts County road 28 when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the west ditch. The vehicle struck an approach, went air born, struck a wooden post, landed on the driver’s side of the vehicle and caught fire. A 30-year-old female and two male passengers who’s ages are unknown were pronounced dead at the scene. A 29-year-old male occupant sustained serious non-life threatening injuries. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
