Three Vikings players and head coach Kevin O’Connell named to AP All-Pro teams

Minnesota Vikings LS Andrew DePaola, WR Justin Jefferson and OLB Andrew Van Ginkel were named to The Associated Press All-Pro Teams. Both DePaola and Jefferson were voted First-Team All-Pro while Van Ginkel was tabbed Second-Team All-Pro. The AP NFL All-Pro Teams are voted on by a national panel of 50 media members.

DePaola earns his third-consecutive All-Pro nod in 2024, having been voted to the first team following the 2022 season and second team after the 2023 season. DePaola, the only long snapper in team history to be selected to the Pro Bowl, became the first long snapper in NFL history to be selected to the Pro Bowl in three-straight seasons (2022-24). Entering the league in 2014, DePaola has played 136 games, tallied 22 tackles and recovered one fumble in his career.

Jefferson, who was a unanimous first-team selection in 2024, earns All-Pro honors for the fourth time in his five-year NFL career, previously being named First-Team All-Pro in 2022 and Second-Team All-Pro following each of his first two seasons in the league (2020-21). He finished the regular season ranked second in receiving yards (1,533), sixth in receptions (103) and tied for sixth in receiving touchdowns (10), and his 14.9 yards per catch led all players with at least 70 receptions. Jefferson logged 80+ receiving yards in 12 games this season, two more than any other player in the NFL in 2024 and the most in a season since Cooper Kupp recorded 16 games with at least 80 receiving yards in 2021. His five 100-yard receiving games tied for the most such games among all players league wide.

In his first season in Minnesota in 2024, Van Ginkel garners the first All-Pro honor of his six-year NFL tenure. He recorded single-season career highs in tackles (79), tackles for loss (18), sacks (11.5) and interceptions (two), finishing the regular season tied for fourth in tackles for loss and tied for eighth in sacks. Van Ginkel was the only player in the NFL with two interception-return touchdowns in 2024, and he joined LB Jason Taylor (2006) as the second player in NFL history since at least 1982 to have at least 11 sacks and two interception-return touchdowns in a season.
