The Minnesota Timberwolves in conjunction with the Dallas Mavericks have announced the two teams will face one another in two pre-sesaon games next season in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is the second-most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. The games are part of a partnership between the NBA and DCT Abu Dhabi that began last year with the Atlanta Hawks taking on the Milwaukee Bucks for the league’s first game in the Arabian Gulf.
