USD athletic director David Herbster resigns to take a position at Sanford

University of South Dakota Athletic Director David Herbster has resigned from his position at USD to take a position at Sanford Health. Herbster’s last day at USD will be August 30th. He will join Sanford’s community relations team who’s job is to build relationships with business leaders and nonprofits. Hebster has served as USD’s athletic director for the past decade. A national search for his replacement will begin in January. Corey Jenkins will serve as interim ad for the time being.
