A University of South Dakota professor was killed last week in a car/vehicle accident. According to authorities 67-year-old Clayton Lehmann of Vermillion died after battling serious injuries he suffered at the intersection of East Main Street and Anderston Street at approximately 8:14 a.m. On Tuesday Nov. 14th. He was rushed to a Sioux Falls Hospital where he would ultimately succomb to his injuries tow days later. Lehmann was a history professor at the University of South Dakota. The driver of the vehicle has not been identified by authorities due to the fact they are a juvenile.
