The University of South Dakota sent out a notification Monday regarding a sexual assault that happened Sunday evening. According to the notification the alleged incident took place at a USD residence hall on the north side of campus. Law enforcement went on to say the suspect in the assault was an acquaintance of the victim and there was no believed ongoing threat to the campus community.
