Vikes head coach Kevin O’Connell addresses QB situation following Kirk Cousins’ season ending injury

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell addressed the media this week following the team losing starter Kirk Cousins to an Achilles tendon injury Sunday against Green Bay.

He started off by discussing how he and the team are devastated at the loss of Cousins…

O’Connell says the team must move forward despite the loss because no one will feel sorry for them…

Fifth round rookie quarterback Jaren Hall replaced Cousins Sunday following the injury. During that time he went 3-4 passing for 23 yards and took one sack.

As to who starts Sunday or if the team makes a move for a veteran quarterback, O’Connell says that is all still up in the air…
