Viking defensive coordinator candidate Ryan Nielsen accepts job with Atlanta

The Minnesota Vikings continue to search for the team’s next defensive coordinator. One of the candidates is now off the board. Ryan Nielsen, the former New Orleans Saints co-defensive coordinator has accepted the defensive coordinator position with the Atlanta Falcons. Nielsen was the first person to interview for the job on January 23rd. Most recently Minnesota interviewed former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores for the job on January 26th.
