Vikings announce 53 man roster

The Minnesota Vikings announced its 53 man roster with several cuts Tuesday. To see the full roster follow this link.

In other roster news, the Minnesota Vikings have acquired defensive tackle Ross Blacklock from the Houston Texans. According to reports the Vikings sent a sixth to Houston for Blacklock and a seventh round pick. The move is salary cap based as the Vikings have cut defensive tackle Armon Watts and his $2.54 million contract and subbed in Blacklock with his $1.33 million contract. Blacklock was a second round pick in the 2020 NFL draft and played in 29 games with three starts for Houston.

He has a total of 36 career tackles, two sacks, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
