Vikings introduce 5th round pick QB Jaren Hall to the media

The Minnesota Vikings used one of its fifth round picks, 164th overall to select BYU quarterback Jaren Hall. Hall is 25-years-old and was a dual sports quarterback for the Cougars playing both football and baseball. He is older than most other NFL rookies because he took time off during his college career to serve a mission for the Mormon church.

According to Hall, the Vikings were his first formal draft interview and he kept in contact with them throughout the process of being selected…

Hall played both football and baseball at BYU. Hall talked about the process of playing both sports and how football won out as to what he would chose to do with his career…

Hall enters the Vikings as an interesting prospect, but not exactly the heir apparent to current starting quarterback Kirk Cousins. Hall is looking forward to learning from Cousins by sitting behind him…
