Vikings resign safety Theo Jackson

The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed safety Theo Jackson.

Jackson, who was set to become an exclusive rights free agent at the start of the 2024 League Year, re-signs with the Minnesota Vikings. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round (204th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft and spent the first six weeks of the 2022 season on the team’s practice squad before signing to the Vikings active roster ahead of their Week 6 matchup at Miami (10/16/22). Jackson has appeared in 27 games in his NFL career, including the Vikings postseason contest against the New York Giants on Jan. 15, 2023. A native of Nashville, Tenn., Jackson posted a career high in total tackles (21) and garnered his first-career interception in 2023, picking off QB Jalen Hurts in Week 2 at Philadelphia (9/14).
