Vikings restructure safety Harrison Smith’s contract

he Minnesota Vikings and safety Harrison Smith have come to terms on a reworked one-year deal. Smith was due to receive $15.3 million in cash which would count as $19.1 million against the salary cap. Smith has accepted a paycut of approximately 50 percent to about $8 million for the 2023 season before incentives. Smith is 34-years-old and has played his entire career with the Vikings.
