Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison cited for driving 140mph in 55mph zone

Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was cited Thursday morning by the Minnesota Highway Patrol for speeding.

According to authorities, Addison was clocked doing 140 miles per hour on a 55 mile an hour freeway just out side of St. Paul.

Addison is 21-years-old and has yet to make his NFL debut. He was selected by the Vikings 23^rd overall in the 2023 NFL draft. In a statement released by the Vikings the team says they area aware of the incident and gathering further information.

Per Minnesota law, a driver cited for speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour can have their license revoked for at least six months.

Rookies are scheduled to report to the team’s training camp Sunday.
