Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was cited Thursday morning by the Minnesota Highway Patrol for speeding.
According to authorities, Addison was clocked doing 140 miles per hour on a 55 mile an hour freeway just out side of St. Paul.
Addison is 21-years-old and has yet to make his NFL debut. He was selected by the Vikings 23rd overall in the 2023 NFL draft. In a statement released by the Vikings the team says they area aware of the incident and gathering further information.
Per Minnesota law, a driver cited for speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour can have their license revoked for at least six months.
