The Minnesota Vikings have signed tight end Sammis Reyes to a deal after he participated on a pro tryout basis in last weekend’s rookie minicamp. Reyes joins the Vikings through the NFL’s International Player Pathway that does not count against the 90-player offseason roster limit. Reyes is a native of Talcahuano Chile and appeared in 11 games, including one start with the Washington Commanders in 2021. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent and in doing so became the first ever Chilean-born player to appear in an NFL game.
