Watertown man arrested on kidnapping charges over the weekend

A Watertown man has been arrested on kidnapping charges from this past weekend in rural Codington county. According to Gowatertown.net 25-year-old Deven Burgher was arrested Saturday night after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a woman while using a weapon. He was arrested in January for a similar incident involving a different woman and was out on bond at the time of this latest arrest. He face first-degree kidnapping, aggravated domestic assault, intentional damage to property, violation of a protection order and interfering with emergency communication . He is currently being held on a $20,000 cash only bond.
