Watertown native arrested for murder in West Fargo

Watertown native has been charged with murder in West Fargo North Dakota. 31-year-old Spencer Moen was arrested last week at his home after police found the body of his wife, Sonja in the bathtub. Police say she was unresponsive and cold to the touch. Moen had taken his children to daycare that morning before calling 911. Moen told police he and his wife had gotten in a fight the night before and she had slept in the bath tub. He also claimed bruising on her face was from a fall. An autopsy would later determine Sonja died from blunt force trauma to her head. She also had at least one fractured rib. Court filings claim Moen later admitted to police he had punched his wife in the face. Moen has been charged with Felony AA murder and contributing to the deprivation of a minor.
