Webster man killed in Codington county fatal accident

The name has been released of the person killed last Thursday in an accident north of Watertown. According to the Department of Public Safety, 21-year-old Micah Martin Sergey Dietmeier of Milbank was driving a crop sprayer, attempting to make a left turn from 455^th avenue into a field approach when a Chevy Equinox driven by 87-year-old Carol fay McFarland of Webster attempted to pass and collided with the sprayer. Both drivers were not injured, but McFarland’s passenger 88-year-old Delwin Henry McFarland of Webster suffered fatal injuires and would pass away at a hospital on July 3rd. The accident occurred at approximately 10:00 last Thursday. All those involved were wearing their seatbelts.
