A White River man has been arrested in connection to an early Monday morning stabbing. According to the Mellette County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. Monday. Authorities found a 54-year-old male victim with several stab wounds. He was taken to an Indian Health Services hospital before being air-lifted to a Rapid City hospital. The identity of the suspect in this case was identified only as a 29-year-old man, but he has been taken into custody and faces aggravated assault and attempted murder charges.
