Wild acquire second and fifth round pick from Buffalo in exchange for forward Jordan Greenway

Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired a second-round selection in the 2023 NHL Draft and a fifth-round selection in the 2024 NHL Draft from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for left wing Jordan Greenway . Buffalo previously acquired the 2023 second-round selection from the Vegas Golden Knights.

Greenway, 26, has skated in 317 career games and owns 119 points (38-81=119) across five NHL seasons (2017-23), all with Minnesota. He has also collected seven points (3-4=7) in 22 career Stanley Cup Playoff matches. The 6-foot-6, 231-pound native of Canton, N.Y., was selected by Minnesota in the second round (50th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
